Been coming to the Gorge for the last thirty years visiting family. My mom is now elderly and so I have moved here to live with her and be her care person, so she does not have be in a nursing home. Moved here late in 2016 and have always enjoyed visiting the Gorge have now fallen in love with White Salmon and the entire Gorge. It is my contention that the mountains (Mount Hood and Mount Adams) and the river (The Columbia) are very powerful forces here and that those who live in the Gorge find themselves blessed with creative passions that are inspired by this beauty and raw power. If you visit here you will find many people in the Gorge that are artist and artisans of all types.Hope you will enjoy this book and add to your virtual or wooden bookshelf. Several of these pieces originated in the Conversations with Mr. Hooker volumes 1 through 8 (volume 10 out this month). The fun just never stops.
