Conversations on Consciousness: Physicist versus Philosopher

The enigma of 'Consciousness' has managed to baffle the scientists just as it has perplexed the rest. It has united the scientists and non-scientists already. The following essay is a proof of that because I, a student of Philosophy, was inspired to plunge into the concepts of Science in an attempt to understand the mysteries of creation. Here I have tried to highlight the paradigm shifts which gradually have been transforming pure Physics to abstract Metaphysics, so to speak, in the simplest way possible, especially for the students of Philosophy. Following the discussions on scientific concepts, an endeavor has been made to glean out philosophical interpretations of the same, especially in the light of Kaśmir Śaivism .
