This was an inspiring story about the challenges the author went through in surviving diabetes. It's difficult to set aside because you want to know what will happen next. After reading his book, I feel like anyone in this day of modern medicine has the ability to live a long and prosperous life with this disease and a very good chance a cure may be just around the corner.
