Wonderful Information.

I am new to the painting world. I found this book to be full of wonderful information to get me started. Not only does it cover painting technique, but it also teaches you how to properly prepare and create the initial sketch. It's a very interesting and informative book.

Learn From A Master

Frank Covino teaches old Masters oil painting methods. Everything is controlled, from palette to final brushstroke: a method that works well. These principals of oil painting are also covered by Covino in video tapes and DVD formats. If you are interested in learning or improving oil painting skills, this is the teacher I'd recommend.
