Author Ayn Amorelli takes advantage of a very popular traditional romance novel plot, the marriage of convenience, and gives it a twist. When Bob McKnight learns that he stands to inherit 20 million... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have read this book by Ayn Amorelli and enjoyed it tremendously! Her characters are totally believable and really make you want to continue reading until you reach the end of the book and then you want more! I would heartily recommend this book to any romance reader!
What a marriage contract

Some say marriage is a contract, but Bob McKnight takes it to a new level when he contracts into a marriage with Kayla. His marriage is to be just that - A contract. Only Bob doesn't take into account that he'd actually start to have feelings for Kayla, and those feelings complicate the way of life he's used to. Bob has a very complicated background and it's hard for Kayla to breakthrough it, yet she does. The love scenes are very erotic, sensual, and tastefully done. I felt like I was reading a high charged romance novel.
Contract Bride by Ayn Amorelli

Ohoh... this is really a very original romance: we have two main characters, one psycotic and the other stupid! Bob is a 35 years old man with a problematic past: he was sexual abused by his mother and has witnessed the continuuing cheating of his father. Now he is a man who noone woman would want: he thinks sex is like an exercise to make with every women he meets. When his aunt died leaving a legacy to him of 20 millions dollars only if he will be married and fathered in 9 months, he gets married with the first woman he finds: Kayla. Kayla is a 25 years old secretary who is in nearly bankrupt cause her shopaholism... when Bob proposes to her to marry him about an hour after their first encounter, Kayla doesn't see any problem to say yes. But Bob is like a maniac: he wants a perfect house, a perfect wife and he wants sex, every moment, in every place and in every position... and the only thought of Kayla is that is an "unconfortable" situation... I don't know if was Ayn Amorelli's intention to write a comic romance, but, in the end, I only can classify this romance like humoristic: I have never seen two most imperfect characters like those two... so imperfect that I really like them.
Ayn Amorelli's tantalizing tale
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 19 years ago
When Bob McKnight talks Kayla into his plans for achieving the terms of his aunt's will, he never thought it would turn out the way it did. Used to doing things the way HE wanted, he soon found out that even though there was a "contract" for her behavior...she expected him to curtail HIS behavior as well. Kayla accepted his terms to keep herself from losing eveything she had...and got more than she bargained for. Though he wrote his obligations into the contract between them, Kayla's heart cried for more; as far as she was concerned marriage was love and togetherness. As husband and wife, certain things were expected...but she soon found out that they weren't expected by Bob. The only thing he wanted from her was sex...and a baby before time ran out and he lost the 20 million dollars. Ayn Amorelli has written a tantalizing tale that takes you from cheering for Kayla to booing for Bob, seesawing back and forth with wonder at just who will win in this test of wills. This is one of those books that you don't want to put down until you find out WHO the winner will be.
