In this context, our prospective study conducted at the Rabta maternity and neonatology center in Tunis, near women with previous abortions, is part of our study.Results-The women most exposed to the risk of contraceptive failure are those aged between 20 and 40 years old, married women, unschooled, without profession, multiparous women, and those who use the pills.62.5% of our population are educated on different contraceptive methods by their midwives while 80% do not know the WCB in case they forget, so the transmission of information is incomplete.-The causes responsible for contraceptive failure are mainly forgetting and misuse.-Most failures occur during the first year of and the first time of use.ConclusionIt is necessary to present clear, complete and well simplified information to women in order to limit the number of unwanted pregnancies and subsequently abortions.
