The study intends to explore representation of the same and the people in multiple phases since the pre-partition to the post 9/11 literature produced by the Pakistani anglophone writers. As this literature flourished it has made big strides in portraying the oppression and suppression of the marginalized and long-kept weaker sections of the society and hence given agency to the same. The next level interaction of the diaspora with their own homelands not only provided opportunities of rediscovering their roots but also creating an amalgam of the western as well local traditions and culture. The converging point of the study does reveal that this literature has played a significant role in reforming and molding the lives of the formerly colonized people all around the globe and has associated Pakistani people and the diaspora with the rest of the socio-politically and literarily.
