A lovely book

I discovered this book while doing a vanity google search on myself, and was surprised to find that my website on prayer beads (www.angelfire.com/my/zelime/beads.html) was referenced in a book on crochet. I do a little crochet myself, so I bought the book. It's a lovely book about meditation and crochet, with suggestions for little spiritual projects like a crocheted mandala, as well as making gifts for those who need them. My only tiny quibbles were that the diagram of the Sri Yantra was incorrect, and the description of the Golden Rectangle was slightly incorrect. She started with a rectangle of two squares and built up rectangles by adding squares to the long side of each previous rectangle. This procedure is correct if you start with a golden rectangle. In this case, she approximates a Golden Rectangle using the Fibonacci sequence as the underlying principle; each time she adds a square to the long side of the previous rectangle, the new rectangle is closer to the Golden Rectangle. Anyway, a very nice book about how repetitive, creative work can put one in a state of profound meditation.
