Once again, they (the Italian film industry) are ahead of us in alien gore and stilted dialogue, which could be interpreted. Cheap props and lots of uses of flashlights when they could just flip a switch. Their suits would never pass the Ebola test. Later, it was replaced with a J-a-p-a-n-e-s-e looking helmet.
It passes time, but they could have put a tad more effort into acting; at least it is not one-dimensional, and we have more than one problem. At least the story does not lose anything over the decades. They borrowed a line from "Them" (1954): "burn it all." We even get an “Ayn Rand” type speech on being a man.
