It is my firm belief that 21st Century American Christians would not be able to tolerate the faith of these pioneer Christians, nor would they be able to appreciate the faith of such men as Abraham, Elijah, Ezekiel, Daniel or Jeremiah. I'm sure the American Church today would brand these pillars of the faith as being total weirdoes. This book is not about being goofy for Christ, but being balanced in developing a walk with God similar to the kind of relationship that the Old and New Testament saints had with God.
