He served as the Director of the extension of the Birmingham Baptist Bible College. He taught extension classes at Ohatchee First Missionary Baptist Church. He served as chairman of The New Era Progressive Baptist State Conventional Evangelical Board. He was president of the Board of the W. James Gilmore Mission Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a member of the National Baptist Convention of America. Inc. He established the Ohatchee Community Development Corporation of Food and Nutrition and the Martin Luther King Community Unity Celebration. He loved the Lord, don't you?
