Have you ever been left silenced? With no identity? When I did something wrong, my mother offloaded parts of handed down stories onto me. When I reached adult life they became my responsibility, part of my guilt and ingrained in my memory. It always came back to the repeated negative cycles that were beyond my control. No matter what I did I was always caught up in them. I was aware that this fell under some form of transgenerational trauma with a combination of epigenetic memory. This did not fall under a normal intergenerational trauma, there was an extra hidden element attached. A pattern started to form in my head which fell under unfulfilled soul contracts and narcissism. My grandmother never knew who she was related to. To find the answers I had to go back there, to where it all started. All I had to go on were pieces of handed down stories and pockets of emotional energy I picked up as a child on an old country boreen in Connemara, Co Galway, Ireland.
