Confronting the Kings" is a story about a teenage Nigerian immigrant named Alex who moves to Inglewood, California with his family. As he tries to fit in at his new school, he faces bias and discrimination from his African American classmates. In an effort to fit in, Alex joins a street gang called the Crenshaw Kings. However, he quickly realizes the dangerous and ruthless nature of the gang and the consequences of his actions. In an effort to protect himself and his family, Alex decides to stand up to the Crenshaw Kings and seek help from the authorities and the community. With the support of his loved ones and the community, Alex is able to confront the Crenshaw Kings and bring them to justice, ultimately standing up for what is right and protecting his family and community.
