Israel is the example in this study. She was humbled by her servitude in Egyptian bondage so that her heart could become a humility pot to receive God's Torah Truth in the wilderness. The LORD puts believers in situations that are like humility pots (places of pain and trials) so that their hearts can become pots of humility; otherwise, their hearts remain proud and obstinate and unfit receptacles for the Truth God wants them to have in order to grow spiritually. This study tells what kinds of spiritual Bread we must gather in our hearts that will produce mature spiritual growth in us and give us strength to climb the hill of Mt. Zion to the New City.
