I started having these gifts and abilities at a young age. I did not understand then, but I do now. Situations that I have experienced, maybe you can relate. Things happen for a reason to help others on their spiritual journeys, Or just life.
Being an empath was something to find out as I remember when It started. I could feel other people's emotions and thought they were my own. I knew they were not mine and researched why I could feel others' happiness, sadness, anger, rage, depression, grief and etc.
When you read, do it with an open heart and understand this is what I have gone through alone. Not understanding it at first and not being able to put a name on it until now.
