Fasten Your SeatBelt!

Reading this book is as close as you will get to flying with your feet still on the ground. You will find yourself sweating along beside him when flying in bad weather and sharing his love of flying at all times. The book becomes an adventure and you are there, right there, all the time, feeling the adrenalin rush and the joy of the sky. If you have ever contemplated learning to fly, then this is a MUST read. And, even if you haven't, you will enjoy the adventure of going aloft and seeing his world, the people, the sights, the places, the feelings and the experiences. Further, the writing itself is captivating. After receiving the book and opening the package, I found that I had read two chapters even before sitting down. Whenever you again see a small private plane in the sky, you will have a renewed interest and appreciation of flight.

Captivating and Inspiring

I was surprized to see my 8 year old daughter pick up this bood and show interest. Not only is she reading about flying adventures, she is discovering the world of flight through Mr. Seibel's experiences. My 11 year old son is also currently reading this book.As I read the book I am easily caught up in the moment with Mr. Seibel as he describes the wonderfully mundane to the "exciting moments" discovered in his travels. This book is a must read for anyone considering learning how to fly. Mr. Seibel intills into the reader not only the great adventure of flight but also the healthy respect and discipline necessary to enjoy a lifetime of adventure in the air. This book reads easily and is written not only to those who are flying veterans, but to anyone who has any interest in flight at all. Well worth the cover price.

A Passionate Lover of Aviation

With the passion of a romance writer describing an unforgettable lover, Gene Seibel introduces us to that place in the sky where eagles fly, where birds take wing and loudly sing. Just as a young man would describe to his mother the girl he plans to marry, this author leaves no doubt his adoration for aviation. Go with him as he confesses everything I have done as a professional pilot, got lost, got scared, got experience and got there and back. Write more books, please Gene Seibel.
