Confessions of a Drowning Man

By Kirwin

Will Blythe, New York Times best-selling author and former literary editor of Esquire magazine: "Confessions of a Drowning Man has exhilarated me more than anything else for a long, long time. It is a brilliant poem that asks the questions I constantly ask the silence that answers...and is a great gift for me and will be for many other readers. And just to add, the rhythm and rhyming is superb. I feel I was listening to a song while I read. There was music in my head and in whatever my soul might be. The prologue of Confessions of a Drowning Man is extraordinary in all respects...the request to the Divine Hand, as it were, with such passion and longing and vision of mystery. It was an enormous pleasure to read Confessions of a Drowning Man. More than that: it's exhilarating for both its wisdom AND its musicality. Frederick Kirwin is a gifted writer."
