Confessions of a Barber is about my life as I started in hairdressers when I was 13 and had lots of lovely clients over the years. Had many amazing opportunities and lots of life experiences and full of fun, laughter, tears and heart ache and it's been a real roller-coaster over the last 37 years. The last 26 years my Journey started as employee in a new barbers shop working 6 days a week to build the business up and then I became a partner in the business and a couple of years later I was gifted the business and then my employer became my landlord. I have seen so many changes in the hairdressers business but one thing never changes, which sometimes means you are a shoulder to cry on. And a good listen. When I first started with my younger customers they are now grown men who bring their own children in now. History repeats itself .
