Worth every penny

I spent my money well when I purchased Mr. Carroll's historically fascinating book. I followed his research to a successful conclusion: I made a search of the area myself and actually found a silver reale from the lost Confederate Treasury...but I won't tell you exactly where! Buy this book; it's worth it and a good read as well!

very good, very thorough, very true.

i purchased the very first copy of this book after waiting patiently so long, taking off work to drive to va.to get it. i have reresearched every aspect, every little bit of information no matter how small and it has all checked out as he says.i have met frank on a couple of occaisons and find him to be very honest and truthful. i have bought maps from every one that has one, spoken with people from new york, through d.c.,v.a.,n.c.,s.c., and no one has been able to prove him wrong.very fine job frank !!!!!

All-night page turner

Living in a country where historical artifacts and centuries-old antiquities are treasured, I am not often interested in reading about US history. All this changed when I read Confederate Treasure in Danville by J. Frank Carroll. Although I'll never dig for the treasure, the value was in the intrigue that kept me turning the pages.

Thoroughly Researched

This book is a thorough review of the events around the fall of the confederacy. Special emphasis is given to the contents of the confederate treasure and possible locations of this lost treasure. Details of the events surrounding the transfer of the treasure are included. Excellent research and details. Hope I can find another book written by him!

I decided to find out information that would lead me to finding this treasure, the most interesting book I came across about this subject was Confederate Treasure in Danville, by J. Frank Carroll. The information was very interesting and currently I have also found that some coins were found in Danville, Virginia already.
