Decent chess book

It's aim is to help you understand some basic strategies. It reviews world champion and grandmaster games, by selecting tactical positions that are difficult to understand. It would be helpful to actually have PGN versions of the games so you can follow along more clearly (don't expect to do it all in your head). The book is not actually that concise, it's actually pretty long and unfocused, but it is still a tiny tiny book (almost the size of a coaster). Some areas are better focused than others. I can't say if it is affecting my skill much, but on occasion some good advice is given.
