If one could sell an idea that comes from the imagination and place it in poetic form, would that person be a poet? Yes, poetry is a gift, given to implant in the readers mind a thought that will stimulate their mind above the mundane happenstance of a routine day. Poetic thought infuses excitement into the thought process of a reader to try and understand what the poet is expressing. Sometimes in the most simplistic words, yet much can be lurking between each line that makes for the true understanding of the poet's poem. Interpretation of a poem is not a simple matter or guess work, as it requires a concept beyond the mere words of the poem itself. Each person who reads a poem may have different views that often may vary with another person's interpretation of the same poem. So poetry is then, a true conflict of thought.
