Computational Methodology and design of an Antibacterial: In silico of Quercetin as Beta lactamase Inhibitor of Clinical Isolation of Acinetobacter baumannii
This book includes many parts Bacteriologic activity, Molecular, In silico and chemical studies of the silica and Biological Screening of Natural Products as anti-beta lactam inhibitors of Acinetobacter baumannii, and bio-separation. Acinetobacter isolates showed multi drug resistance (MDR) against many antibiotics due to occupying many virulence gene. In silico drug design represents a new approach for drug discovery and industry. This approach was used in order to find multi-target activity against the β-lactamase protein of the Acinetobacter which is considered the main virulence factor of this bacterium. In silico many servers drug design was used in this book for screening of antimicrobial activity from natural sources. One inhibitor (Quercetin) with different properties were selected to apply for the in vitro approach for study and inhibit the β-lactamase activity on the plate without side effects on growth Acinetobacter.
