Great Study guide.

Ensure you purchase this if you want to study for the SY0-201 exam. This assured me a pass in my exams as did other SYBEX publications for CompTIA exams. It's not hard to read and very easy to understand. Once you are serious about writing the exam, then you should purchase this book as it will be of great help for those, both new and experienced in Security, who need to understand the concepts of Computer Security that is featured in the Security+ exam.

Very satisfying

This is the only book you need to have security+. But remember, security is a subject that depends on experience. So coupled with experince, this leads you to security+.

Excellent format and presentation

This book is well layout and written. I've taken to Sybex press books of late due to their layouts and presentation of materials.

The bonus material makes a big difference!

This book (the Deluxe Edition) is the same as the Study Guide with a few exceptions and those are exceptions worth noting: more study material in the form of bonus questions and appendices. One of the appendices - the lab manual - gives you hands-on exercises to walk you through the steps to not only know what the exam questions are talking about, but be able to relate them to the real world.

Great book, all I needed to pass

I purchased this book 3 weeks before I sat for the exam. The book content, flash cards and 4 practice exams were just the right balance to pass the exam. I would recommend this book to anyone needing/wanting to get the Security+ certification.
