Great Book...Helped me pass.

I thought this book was very useful in helping me pass the A+ exams (Essentials + 202-602) It has a great layout with the A+ focus areas, questions at the end of each chapter, great dictionary in the back, and covers absolutely everything, including things that aren't on the exam but are still useful in the 'real practical' world. If you're going for your exams I would recommend this book, after all I passed it with my practical experience and just this book.

Best Study Book for the A+ 2006 Exam

I love this book. Together with the CompTia A+ Q & A, I am getting a great education. The In Depth book is very organized, easy to understand and the Q & A book is a great tool to reinforce your reading. I would recommend this to anyone taking the A+ exam or for anyone simply wanting to learn the basics of Hardware and Software.

Great Book at a good price.

I bought this book for an A+ class. I have learned so much from this book. It explaines the reasons why things are the way they are and how to fix them. I showed it to co-workers and we all learned a few things.

Easy to read A+ book with a lot of Facts.

This is a good book for the price that covers everything in depth. This is a book thats 1000 pages and covers everything in detail with an appendix and a large glossary. and post codes. For the information at the price it really a bargain. Also on the cd shows you troubleshooting chart, printer troubleshooting chart and some forms for call center or pc repair center so if any of you want to open a store you have the forums handy :) Ownly books I would reccommend over these are the comp tia books that deal with each test on their website. Those books run about 70 dollars for each exam. This is a great solution for the price.

Great Book Full of information

CompTIA A+ 2006 In Depth is full of information to help you pass the A+ exams. This book is over 1200 pages of the hardware and software training you will a PC repair technician. CompTIA A+ 2006 In Depth has several appendixes some of which cover Linux, OS X, electricity and multimeter's. Although not lengthy these chapters will give you a basic understanding for the subjects. If I was going to take the exam I know I could pass. This is a great book for the beginning PC user or an advanced PC user.
