Wonderful

At the time that I bought the books, I thought "My goodness!". But as I read it, I understood why. The authors didn't leave any equation out of view. They even made them understandable.

This book is the one I've been looking for!!

The intergral approach to physiology was very impressive. This book was written to give you not only information, but also philosophy of life.

The New Testament for Referencing Human Physiology

The most hard to locate reference book at our institute despite the fact that there are a number of copies available to our staff. The integrative approach used in this book lends additional insight into the topic of interest. For students the two volumes promote critical thought towards the subject rather than the simple digestion of information. Finally, the book is far less dogmatic in the knowledge it conveys than any other Physiology text book on the market!

The Comprehensive Human Physiology of Greger and Windhorst is probably the thickest Physiology Book so far! 126 (!) Chapters in 2527 (!) pages written from top specialists constitute an excellent refference and study book not only for professionals (Physiology professors, doctors etc.), but also for all those who want more than the usual stuff and for all those who need a deep and multiangular approach in physiological systems.
