This book is the result of an arduous research work developed in the San Pedrito neighborhood of the city of San Salvador de Jujuy (Province of Jujuy) - Argentina. The main objectives of this study were: to analyze and evaluate the possibility of applying an adequate treatment to household waste that allows the reduction of pollution levels, raising awareness among neighbors of the need to access the recycling of household organic waste using processing methodologies applicable to a domestic scale.
