Following the Holy Spirit is the normal life that every Christian should have. But in fact, there are very few churches and believers who truly follow the Holy Spirit and let the Holy Spirit lead. The main reason for this may be a lack of teaching about biblical truth; if there is a lack of teaching about the truth of the Holy Spirit, it may be because church leaders lack knowledge and experience of the Holy Spirit.
The author's former church, the truth about the "local church" is much spoken, but very little is taught about the truth of the Holy Spirit, especially about the Holy Spirit's personal relationship with the saints, and what believers should know and experience of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I personally did not understand what it means to follow the Holy Spirit during the first seventeen years of my conversion.
