Barrington Barber's accessible teaching style makes this a must-have manual for those looking to build their drawing skills using a relaxed but effective method.
This is a very basic book on drawing. Extremely basic! It has many projects but doesn't contain indepth concepts like form, line, structure or serious drafting techniques. The seven most common elements of drawing include line, shape, texture, form, space, color and value, with the additions of mark making, and materiality. This book doesn't adress this at all. If you are a real beginner and want to start drawing it may be ok. For a serious novice or artist it's not worth it.
