Cardiorespiratory arrest is one of the main causes of mortality, especially in rural areas, where the delay in the arrival of emergency services drastically reduces the probability of survival. The lack of training in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and in the use of semiautomatic defibrillators among the non-healthcare population hinders immediate response. This study evaluates a basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation intervention network in the municipality of Mallén, Aragón. Through structured training, participants acquire skills to act quickly in emergencies, increasing the probability of survival until the arrival of emergency services. The training includes a theoretical and practical phase, evaluated through pre- and post-tests. The proposed model emphasizes community coordination and coordination with local emergency services, establishing a system that can be replicated in other rural areas. It is expected that this initiative will contribute to improve the response to cardiorespiratory arrest.
