Commonsense Celsetial Navigation

An excellent resource for the armchair or novice workingnavigator. The author includes a perpetual solar almanac that, withthe purchase of a plastic "Lifeboat" sextant and a good watch, makes a complete selfcontained navagation system that will take you anywhere in the world, at least in your imagination! The instructions are clear and do not assume the reader is familiar with the arcane terminology of traditional navigation. It also includes techniques for navigation when some components normally used are not available. Any idiot can use a GPS, be a real hairy chested sailorperson and be the hero when the batteries fail.
