Jerome of Stridon is a 4-5th century Early Church Father who has written a massive amount of works including Bible commentaries, letters, sermons, etc. Jerome is well-known for translating the entire Bible from the ancient texts into Latin, which is called the Latin Vulgate. His commentary style in this commentary on Galatians is very thorough, and over double the amount of content than most other Patrisitic commentaries on Galatians. He was an expert in Greek and Hebrew, and he often interprets the passages of Scripture by consulting Greek and Hebrew words and phrases.
