Coming to Canada

When Jedi landed in Canada, he was shocked to learn that he can't practice his engineering profession here, although he was given immigration on the basis of his engineering qualifications. Jedi was not even allowed to use the professional title 'Engineer' till he got the license from the local engineering profession regulating body. His past 15 year experience had no value here; employers need Canadian experience. The big dilemma for Jedi was how to get Canadian experience without a job; or get a job without Canadian experience. Landlords were hesitant to rent him accommodation without job letter. In addition he and his family were not entitled for free medical facilities for three months. If this was the situation how could he and his family think of settling in a new country? This is what the subject of the book is. It is presented in the format of a 'Personal Diary' where the immigrant pens down his own experiences
