A unique take on death and bereavement without a belief in God or an afterlife Accepting death is never easy, but we don't need religion to find peace, comfort, and solace in the face of death. In this inspiring and life-affirming collection of short essays, prominent atheist author Greta Christina offers secular ways to handle your own mortality and the death of those you love.
I have been looking for non-religious books about death. I bought this book based on the title. It has some really good information. In particular I learned about the group, grief beyond belief.
I felt that this book was more of a defense of atheism through the lense of death, than a book about death through the lense of atheism. I would have preferred more Comforting thoughts on Death as the title suggested there would be.
