Blessings in the midst of troubles

Just as I suspected Janine Riding's book is every bit as comforting as the devotionals and wisdom she's shared with us for a long time. Having battled my own storm with MCS, CFS and FM for many years I can say that this book would be one of the first things I'd put in the hands of someone who's just been diagnosed with a chronic illness as well as those who's been struggling for years. Excellent Devotional for Chronic Illness Sufferers and Others

Wow! Very enjoyable devotions on just about any issue. As an MCS sufferer myself I appreciated that the book was specific to those with chemical sensitivity, however the devotions would serve as a blessing to anyone. Once you have read this book it also serves well as a refresher reference.

Excellent book for the chemically sensitive

I thoroughly enjoyed Janine Ridings' book, Comfort in the Storm. I also suffer from MCS, so I can certainly relate to the trials and tribulations that affect those of us afflicted with this illness. Janine writes of her personal struggles with this disease, how she has managed to cope, and now brings comfort to others through Biblical devotionals, personal understanding and lack of judgement. Her book can shed light on the realities of this evergrowing disease caused from chemical exposures, while bringing forth much needed hope to fellow sufferers.

True comfort

Just as the title states, Janine Ridings' book is indeed a great comfort. As a sufferer of MCS myself, I found myself looking forward to and being blessed by each new devotion. Her solid Biblical stance and wise counsel make this book a gem. She neither rejects true Biblical healing nor promotes an "automatic" easy believism. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, not only for those with MCS but for any person seeking comfort in this world of storms.
