God is Faithful - Always

I originally purchased this book at a truck stop in Ashland, VA in the spring of 1986, and it became one of my favorite devotional/inspirational books. The essential theme of this little book is this - if you are a believer in Christ, He is in control of your life, and the goal of suffering, trials and tribulations is to make us more Christ-like. No matter how severe or painful your current life situation may be, He cares for you and He is in control of every aspect of the suffering or trying situation - including when it will end. God has a unique plan for each of our lives, and if we allow Him full reign to accomplish His purposes in us, we will come forth as pure gold, refined by the fires of testing. Every serious follower of Christ needs this book, and if you have friends or loved ones who are sick, disabled, unemployed or going through other extreme trials, giving them a copy of 'Comfort for Troubled Christians' might be one of the greatest gifts you could ever give them.

In very many ways this small little book is exactly what you need in every difficult situation of life .There has not been one situation in my life that was not addressed and remedied with the timeless bible teachings contained herein.This book has become very special to me , but not as much as my saviour that comes immediatly to comfort after the principles outlined in this book are applied. Always remember, Jesus is sufficient. It is very easy to know the verses in this book while forgetting the understanding that is clarified and brought out so well here. purchase and be blessed for years to come.

This small and easy to read book helps the person who is going through a tough time understand that even then God's love and mercy shine through. It is a book that will help the christian find peace in the midst of difficulty and trials. It offers a unique perspective and wonderful insights into how God works to purify his children -sometimes this process may be painful. Ultimately, God loves us and his blessing will be ours if we always learn to delight in the Lord. I read the book recently when I was going through a personally trying time and it gave me the perspective I need it to be able to sleep at night and to chart ahead when I actually felt without hope.
