Communion is an invitation into the presence of Almighty God; to come and sit at his table as we remember Jesus' sacrifice upon the cross. He prepares a table for us in the midst of our enemies (Psalm 23:5). He wants to commune with us. He sat down at the table and invites us to sit with him. Many Christians only take communion in church, once a week or even less often. I believe Jesus wants us to take communion much more often, including on our own, at home. This little book helps in that aim, to come to the table, to sit down with our Saviour and feast on his goodness and love.
