I don't read very much fiction so I do not consider myself a credible judge but: I thought the book well written and I found it very interesting! For me it was a real page-turner! I thought the descriptions of emotions very realistic, but of course the author has a degree in psychology!

"Come Autumn" is a bittersweet story about the choices that affect our lives: those we make that we can control, and those made by others that we can't. It is the life story of a girl/woman who knows from the beginning what she wants, but like many of us, doesn't always find a way to have it. In the detours, the joys and sorrows are found that make life the beautiful tapestry that it is. It's a great lesson for us all about making the most of our lives as they are, while not abandoning our dreams. Nannette Kern guides us through life with its twists and turns with grace and insight. I enjoyed the ride very much and recommend it to all. It might be especially enlightening to twenty-somethings making critical choices that will change the rest of their lives. And it's a fun read! --Eileen Snow, author of "Hannah's Reach."
