Combined induction and consolidation chemotherapy in NSCLC

Although lung cancer accounts for only 15% of all cancers, it the leading cause of cancer related deaths in both men and women, sadly it is diagnosed in a late stage when the treatment is mainly palliative. But; still there is a hope for good response and better survival especially to patients with locally advanced non small cell lung cancer. From the most commonly used chemotherapeutic combinations, concurrent chemoradiation, we may pass to a longer life span to these patients.
