With this book, I am attempting to process and come to terms with what I have experienced and suffered, and to convey this to others. It is an attempt to understand what can happen to you when you undergo a "routine procedure" and, as a result, completely turns your life (and that of various others) upside down, steers it in a new direction, incurs costs and work affecting one's entire environment. It is not intended to be dissuasive, to raise accusations, or to make reproaches, however, it should provide an impetus to think about whether everything you do, recommend, or suggest, without weighing it up properly, or thinking it through to the end, is really the right thing to do at the right time and right place. Above all, it should show what kind of "confused thoughts" can go through a person's mind when their environment/body is exposed to extraordinary stress that they are ultimately unable to process. It is also an attempt to show that there is still much that is unknown about what the body is capable of. Happens to a German in Switzerland. I experienced it all firsthand.
