Bad condition and incomplete

The listing I purchased said it was a single volume encyclopedia (so I was expecting something quite thick) but the copy I received was thin, labeled as volume 2, and only contained partial entries for A and B words. In addition, the copy I ordered was labeled “very good” condition, but the cover of this book was absolutely trashed. It was torn up, dented, scuffed, and stained. The damage to the book does not seem like it was done in transit to me, as the bag it was in looked relatively fine.
