A young Australian boy has but one passion in life - singing. Blessed with a god given Coloratura voice of great power, range and beauty, from an early age he is able to repeat note perfectly whatever aria or song he hears for the first time. He is heard by the leading singing teacher at the conservatorium. The first part of their meeting is a fiasco. The only sounds emitting from the boys throat being a variable squawk. However after much coaxing, the true voice appears to overwhelm the famous teacher. From then on, she teaches him privately until his voice breaks and from that moment on everything seems to fall apart, in more ways that one. For her, the boy, the mother and his father. The final outcome is a miracle.
