Color For the Watercolor Painter

This book was first printed in 1982. It is full of wonderful information about color, but the first 70 pages of the book are in black and white... The discussions about the 37 colors he has studied and put on his color wheel do not have examples of the color. The last 70 pages do have excellent examples of color. Mr. Hill is a master watercolorist and gives some wonderful learning exercises to help you to learn how to blend colors and why shadows look the color they do.

The author, celebrated fine artist Tom Hill, leaves no doubt of which brush to choose, which material to select, and then he gives you a step-by-step illustrated image of how to do it and how it is supposed to look.
