In this story, a young man gets married, moves to the Colonies, ending up in the Charleston, South Carolina area. The main character and his wife buy a slave couple who becomes their best friends and partners in a rice plantation. Their families grow up playing and working together.
In Fight for Freedom, our characters work with General Francis Marion(The Swamp Fox) to thwart the British in their endevors to re-enslave the colony. They witness the fight with the British in Yorktown, Virginia and the battle for Charlestown.
In all the trials the young man and his family go through, they look to their faith in each other to pull them through...
