For English language practitioners, it is crucial to employ proper collocations for much more genuine, native-like, and prominent mastery of the language. In case that collocations are naturally netted within a language itself and across languages, this book is basically a lexical analytical study that explores collocation errors-made by majors of English and journalism- from three main dimensions: Firstly, collocation background knowledge of the native language (NL: Arabic) and the foreign language (FL: English); secondly, specific discourses (politics, education, and daily life); thirdly, based on a developed model of collocation categories (collocation range, collective nouns, compounds and binominals).
