Looks like every maths explanation is here. Very informative.

Finally found what I was looking for

a small sized, thorough and useful for a beginner are the criteria I was looking for in a dictionary for math. This book explains what greek letters "usually" or generally stand for. That fact alone is worth double the price of this great book. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

nice collection of mathematical terms

This is a very nicely arranged dictionary of mathematical terms in a pocket sized paperback book. I was able to find it at Borders for only $5.95. The book has clear and concise explanations and includes many key statistical terms as well.
