The Collector's Encyclopedia Of Barbie Doll Exclusives is a great reference to the value of different types of Barbies. I was a little dissapointed that the Holiday Barbies and Bob Mackie Barbies are not listed in the book but I was pleased, otherwise. I would recommend this book.

Having read the other collector's encyclopedia's written by this author, this one is also a beautiful collection of the Barbie doll's one may want to know about and/or collect. The pictures are well done and the descriptions very clear and understandable. At a book store, before even my first purchase of these books, I skimmed other books stating they had what I was looking for, but none compared to Michael J. Augustyniak's. Through his books, I have been able to purchase Barbies at what I know is a fair and good price for my own collection. Very good resource book. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Encyclopedia for Barbie collectors!

This book is the most wonderful Encyclopedia about Barbie dolls. It has so many dolls listed with descriptions, prices and pics of the dolls in their boxes. Many pink boxes, OOAK Mattel dolls and collectibles. Pictures are nice, they are from the doll in box, and there are closes on some dolls. If you need information on Pink Boxes, this book is the best!!! There are a new version 'cos this is not updated, the dolls showed ends on 1999. There are no 2000 dolls or 2001. But there are a second edition, so search for the new edition!

A Colorful And Very Informative Guide For Barbie Collectors!

I have the first edition and love it but this second edition is even better! This book if jam packed with great pictures and information. It is a must have for any Barbie Collector. I would highly recommend it. I will be eagerly waiting for the next edition.

The best and most comprehensive Barbie refence book written.

This book will entertain as well as inform you of all Barbies on the market from the past until 1996. The author is remarkable with pictures and price values. As a novice collector, I refer to this book several times a day. It has helped me to realize that Barbie collecting is a real science. Before purchasing a new doll, I check Augusyniak's encyclopedia. No Barbie collector should be without this valuable tool. HIGHLY recommended by me, an English teacher. I value this book tremendously. I happily look forward to book 2, if there is to be one. I thank the author for his excellent research skills.
