Collectives - a world perspective.

I have been waiting a long time for a book like this. Collectives was given to me as a gift by a dear friend, and I must admit that my initial reaction (before I started reading it) was one of "why would I be interested in a collection of essays from some regional writer I've never heard of, from some place, the name of which I can't even pronounce, on the other side of the world?" Mistake! This is such a positive and optomistic view of reality that Collectives now lives beside my bed.Now I just open it at random and read a page or two. Particularly when I'm feling a bit jaded. It restores my faith in the world. I don't want to write a review. I just want to recommend this book. I find it reassuring to read someone who deals with life's simple and complex issues in such a heartfelt, honest and thought provoking way. Makes me smile. And think about things in a ways that I hadn't even considered before.Thank you, Ron Colone. I hope there will be another book soon.
