I just finished your book. I think it's elegant, deft, and often brilliant. I do wonder a bit about its overall effect, though, as in, 'Who is this guy and what is he about?' Some poets impress you with insights while others, their taste, touch, or sensitivity. A few bowl you over with both their thinking and music. Moment by moment, you can certainly mesmerize, tease, and even astound but, again, 'Who are you and what must you convey to us?'
