Collective health research in Brazil has achieved notable prominence. The approaches, methods and types of research are diverse and represent the relevance of this field: interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity. In Cear , scientific research models using a quantitative approach have gained discussion space within the Postgraduate Programme in Collective Health (PPSAC) at the State University of Cear (UECE), through the Population Health Situation Research Line, one of the lines that guides studies in the Master's and Doctorate in Collective Health of the aforementioned Programme.
