Berlin, Germany was a hotbed of spies from many countries. The Vice President of the United States planned to visit the city to show US support to the German government against the East German wall that surrounded Berlin. The CIA detected chatter that a group of student protestors against the war in Vietnam were planning his assassination. An Air Force Ground Electronics and Engineering Installation Agency (GEEIA) team was dispatched to Berlin to construct a television station for the American military assigned to Berlin. A member of the GEEIA team, Airman Frank Logan, who was also part of a Joint CIA/USAF group, was tasked to infiltrate the group. The mission became convoluted when it was discovered that the Soviet Union KGB had plans of their own that would decimate the population of Berlin and kill many American military personnel.
